About

Lindsay and Ann Boyle are Sheep and Cattle farmer’s South Burnett Region of Queensland. They moved here in 2016 and have never looked back.

We chose the South Burnett due to its location not too far from the airport (family visits) not too far from where our children were living, and the area is considered strategic cropping land.

The property had good road access is 25km to Murgon and 80km to Kingaroy. In the past it had been a dairy and piggery and was being used for beef cattle prior to our purchase.

The vendor kindly allowed us to come and fence prior to settlement so we had an area that would keep our sheep in (Sheep have a total disregard for 4 wire barb fences!)

The first 12 months were spent FENCING and installing new poly water lines and troughs (sheep cannot drink from cattle troughs they are vertically challenged!)

We (mostly Lindsay) removed the old cattle yards and built new ones.

Demolished the old piggery and build a new equipment shed.

Demolished the old garage and replace it with a new steel garage.

Filled in the pit of the herringbone dairy and set up the sheep yards.
